I got the tattoo, now what?
I've done my part, now for you to do yours.

To ensure an optimal heal for your tattoo (and its integrity long-term) please follow these recommendations. Keep in mind different artists make different after-care recommendations, these happen to be mine.
Instructions
1. Leave your clear bandage applied for up to 4 days. It is common for blood and plasma to be secreted from the tattoo site to collect under the bandage, so do not be alarmed.

2. Remove bandage under running warm water. With clean hands, cleanse tattooed area with orange dial soap, (or any non-scented antibacterial soap). Lightly moisturize with Aquaphor. Your tattoo is essentially a new open wound, so treat it as such. Both orange dial soap and Aquaphor can be purchased anywhere with a pharmacy (walmart, cvs, walgreens). Unscented lotion, and raw unscented shea butter also works in place of Aquaphor

Repeat this routine every morning and evening for 5 days. If you work out, implement this routine post work out as well.
After these 5 days, leave your tattoo alone. It will scab, do not peel/pick the scab. It will itch, do not scratch your tattoo.

Tattoos take approximately a month to fully heal. Please consult with your artist if you have any concerns.
